Iceland will surprise you!

August 12 to 20, 2006

Ice_ocean.jpg (24342 bytes)Try to imagine a paradise where heat, hot water and electricity come to you free, directly out of the ground, either from water cascading over mighty warfalls or from hot springs, continuously errupting geysers.

Imagine a country with scenery so wild that the astronauts practiced for their moon walk by visiting there. Imagine a country of only 275,000 people, half of whom live in the capital city,

Ice_expl.jpg (21375 bytes)Now imagine yourself bathing in the geothermally heated "Blue Lagoon" (It has been reported that each time you bathe in the healthful waters of the Blue Lagoon you become six months younger!)

Optional tours include riding on the famous Iceland ponies, or whale watching off the coast of this fishing nation, or spending a couple of hours in easy white-water rafting...or wildest of all, imagine yourself choosing to put on warm clothing (which we supply) and snowmobiling on a glacier in the month of August.

Price: $3539  including air fare from JFK

Important "trivia" about Iceland.

The word "Iceland" is Icelandic for island (surrounded by water... nothing to do with ice!)
